The NDIS is a system where people with disabilities can get help from the government to pay for things they need to live. This might include getting help at home, going to the community, or assisting with everyday medical needs.

Community Nursing Care

Loyalty Care Service’s Community Nursing Service offers registered and enrolled nurses who can assist with medical issues that require professional attention without requiring the individual to leave home. This includes medication management, wound care, monitoring clinical signs such as blood pressure, pulse and temperature, and specialist assistance.

Assistance with household tasks

The Loyalty Care Service can assist clients with Household Tasks. This involves undertaking essential household tasks that the participant is not able to undertake, such as everyday cleaning, yard tiding (mowing, gardening), cooking, washing, and other duties. Completing paperwork and file management are also included in this program.

Community Participation

Loyalty Care Services offers a Community Participation service that supports participants to engage in the community, social or recreational activities. These activities may be provided in a centre or in community settings. Activities include camps or courses, volunteer arrangements in the community, mentoring, peer support or individual skill development. This service is important for providing opportunities for participants to connect with their community and build skills.

Personal Activities

Personal Activities involve assistance with activities that maintain daily personal living skills and routines. This may include help with personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming, as well as assistance with using the toilet, eating and drinking. It also includes support to take medication as prescribed and mobility assistance.

Interpretation and Translation

The Interpretation and Translation service is designed to assist clients who do not speak English as their first language. This includes translating documents and providing interpreting services over the phone or in person. The service can also provide support for clients who are deaf or have hearing impairments.

Exercise

The Exercise program assists participants in maintaining their physical health and well-being. It includes group and individual exercise classes and access to gym facilities. The program is designed to improve fitness levels, muscle strength and flexibility and can also help to reduce stress levels.
